"Early Morning Inspiration..."

It's rainy season in our place. Here I am, spending an early morning in front of a computer. I just finished my task of reading and making a journal. The rain continues to make a drumming sound in the roof top, the cool breeze soothes; call of crickets and croak of frogs creates a symphony of music. Sometimes, by just waking up early - one can discover a wealth of inspiration...a wondrous motivation to start up your day! More than the hot brewed of coffee, whose aroma permeates my study. There are some things that I recall from my readings (John W. Gardner) that inspired me, allow me to share to you some of these: Live: Be aware. Experience. Grow... When you learn to appreciate the beauty, complexities and wonders of the life process, You will understand the breadth and depth of our world - yet most people waste life. Love: Greet this day, with love... Your capacity to break through the barriers that cut one off from others and beyond the claims of self - to give and receive, t

Leaders....People who make a difference!

"Leaders are like eagles, they don't flock. You find them one at a time... I do love stories and allow me to share a wonderful story about an unexpected leader, this wonderful story was related by a famous speaker and author Barbara Glanz: A few years ago, she spoke from a supermarket chain. About three weeks later, she got a phone call from a person who said his name was Johnny and that he was a bagger in the store. He also told her that he had a Down Syndrome. Johnny then told Barbara how much he liked what she said about serving customer. That night, he and his father, had set up a document on the computer where every night he would type a thought for the day that he found. He then printed them, cut them out, and signed his name at the back of each slip of paper. The next day as he bagged groceries, he tucked the encouraging thought into each person's grocery bag.

What is beauty?

Imahe
What is beauty? Images of beauty are plastered all around us: billboards, advertisements, in movies, magazines, on television, and on the internet. In ancient times, men loved healthy and vigorous women, because they can have children through them. Women like strong, muscular and healthy male specie that would be able to hunt for food and protect the family. Among the Olmec Indians of Mesoamerica, women liked men with broad nostrils, thick lips and full cheek. But for the ancient Egyptians, their ideals of beauty is similar to our modern Western culture – slim body, muscles an d broad shoulders for men; small waists, flat stomachs, and long thick hair for women. And in sixteenth century England, an ideal woman had snow white skin, red cheeks and lips. Women during those days applied a very white makeup to their faces and necks. But sad to say, women also did not take a bath very often! In Myanmar, a beautiful woman is one with a very long neck. So as early as five or six yea

The difference between a successful person and others is not the lack of strenght, not lack of knowledge, but rather - is the lack of will. Patience: in time, the grass becomes milk

A hundred years from now it will not matter what your bank account was, the sort of house you lived in, or the kind of car you drove. But the world maybe different because you were important in the life of a child. Do you want to see in your lifetime a better place to live, a better people? Think about this: "There's a wide-eyed little boy who believes you're always right, and his eyes are always open while he watches day and night. You are a setting example. Everyday in all you do, For the little boy who's waiting To grow up and be like you. What you teaches to a small child today will affect what they will be in the future. Never ever forget: To the world, you may be just one person...but to one person you might be the world."

Carpe Diem..Seize the Day!

Imahe
This morning i woke up earlier than usual, i take a peek at my kids and they're still sleeping soundly. I stretched myself, make up room and set on a corner thinking about my upcoming activities for the day. Outside the window, i can hear the morning birds' various symphony - the world's starting to wake up. What a cool, beautiful and joyful morning! It's another day! A new lease of life, another journey and what more - new opportunities to do, break new grounds and to reach new heights! To simplify and to beautify! To seek and to find! To create and to innovate! To see and to believe! Another mountain perhaps, for us to climb, or a new road to pass by - and discover what lies beyond.... Today i was reminded of a great hymn written by Thomas Obediah Chisholm's that expressess God's faithfulness to us: "Great Is Thy Faithfulness." This inspired words are drawn directly from the Scriptures that provides the thoughts that we now sing: Because of the LO
